Couple of Cops Will Skip Serving Tickets and Serve Coffee Instead

The only thing a couple of El Paso Police officers will be serving next Wednesday is coffee, not tickets. Don't be surprised when a couple of officers will be taking your order at Starbucks next week. If you go to the Starbucks that is located inside Albertsons, 3100 N. Mesa you're in for a surprise. You will be able to have coffee with a cop next week on Wednesday, October 16.

I thought this was a pretty nifty idea to see our police officers in a different environment. We're used to getting bothered by police officers who ticket us for just trying to keep us safe. The officers want you to see they have a gentler side to them than what most assume. This national campaign is to help citizens and the police break those negative hurdles. So this is your chance to have coffee with a cop and hopefully, get your order right.
