A Purdue football player has made headlines not for his football skills, but for his heart of gold.

Tario Fuller Jr., 19, is a college student and football player on the Purdue University football team. This kind-hearted young man made one little girl's birthday by buying her a surprise present right there in the toy aisle at Target.

Two year-old Kinley Shuffelbarger was shopping for a birthday present with her mother in the toy aisle at Target in Lafayette, Ind. The little girl was picking out toys that she wanted for her birthday, "oohing and ahhing" over her choices.

Fuller and a friend were also shopping at Target when he heard the young girl. He smiled and asked Kinley which one was her favorite. Kinley showed him her choice and said "she really lubed dis one."  Fuller and his friend chuckled and took the doll and told Kinley to "try to stay over here."

A few minutes later, Fuller came back with the doll in a bag with the receipt. He gave the bag to Kinley and told her "Happy Birthday, you enjoy your dolly." Finley's mother Megan Shufflebarger said she couldn't believe the man's kind gesture. She took a photo of Fuller with her daughter and posted it to Facebook, explaining what he did and how it made her feel.

What a reminder to never loose faith in humanity and to be generous and pay it forward. To this generous young man, whoever you are, I hope you see this and more importantly, I hope you know what a good young man you are.

Since this photo was put on Facebook, it has been shared 69,000 times and has over 146,000 likes. Tario Fuller, Jr was also tagged on the photo who responded by simply saying "what an honor" on his Facebook page.

My heart is about to explode. We were in target tonight and this younger couple was walking thru the toy aisles...
