Anytime you walk into a haunted house and are immediately told a safe word, you know its going to be good! Especially when it's happening at the castle of porn giant Kink.com.

Kink films all of their porn videos at their castle, which was bought by the company back in 2006. Named the San Francisco Armory, this 200,000 square foot reproduction of a Moorish Castle is the perfect backdrop for a erotic haunted house.

Stories from last year's Hell in the Armory haunted house would cause many to not want to go, or be roused at the idea of going. Check out Vice's story of what happened last year in the first scene:

Pressed up against the chamber's walls, we were casually inspected by a tall, blonde dominatrix who whispered, 'Will you get naked for me?' Undeterred by the head shakes and shivers, the dom eventually came to the young lady next to me, who gave a tentative nod and stepped forward. Then, before our now-adjusted-to-the-dim-light eyes, the woman was stripped, gagged, and bound by the dom. I would be lying if I said this light BDSM scene wasn't sexy. And judging by my partner's face, and the other patrons' gasps (was that disgust or delight I heard in their voices?), I wasn't the only one paying attention. But it wasn't over yet: As the dominatrix locked the final chain, the dungeon door flew open, a frothing werewolf crawled menacingly towards the restrained volunteer, and the last thing we saw before the lights flashed was the beast's mouth on her body and a gush of blood from between her legs.

This year though, many reviews of the new Hell in the Armory: Inferno is letting patrons know if they went last year, it is nothing like the year before. This year is "short on costumes, lighter on fake blood, and more likely to make someone in your group piss their pants."

This is what the people at Kink had to say about this year's haunted house:

Based on the famous "Dante's Inferno", this immersive horror experience will be a wild and savage mindfuck unlike anything seen before. Violence, sexuality, and hardcore horrors are all awaiting visitors as they are forced to confront their sins and traverse through the Hell of Dante's journey.

Website sfist.com even gave a list of bits of wisdom to people who are going to the castle this year.

  1. There could be some standing around to start.
  2. You'd better not be claustrophobic, asthmatic, epileptic, or have any history of seizures or serious panic issues.
  3. This "erotic haunted house" is less erotic, way more chaotic than last year.
  4. Don't listen to the coat check lady when she says there's no "splashing" or risk of clothing stains.
  5. Again, your Christian cousins in town won't like this one either.
  6. The concept this year is based on Dante's Inferno, but that's pretty loose.
  7. You will be thrust in darkness, screamed at, pushed, and touched a lot.

Tickets for this year's Hell in the Armory: Inferno are on sale right now through Eventbrite and are $40. The haunted house is located at The Armory, 1800 Mission Street in San Francisco, CA. If you make it out to San Francisco before Halloween you should definitely go check this out!
