When was the last time you were at Applebee's? When you were there did you order a drink? Well, apparently not enough of you are, which might be a good thing, if you want a cheap drink.

Throughout the month of October, Applebee's will have what the call the 'Dollarita', in celebration of Neighborhood Appreciation Month.

"We focus on our food a lot, but 'bar' is in our name, and it is an integral part of what makes Applebee's a great neighborhood destination," Patrick Kirk, Applebee’s vice president of beverage innovation, said in the news release.

The promotion comes just two months after the restaurant chain announced it will be closing 135 of its locations across the nation. Applebee's has also said it's going to stop trying to win over "food-trend-obsessed millennials, and will now focus on targeting “routine traditionalists.”"

In 2016, the food chain invested $140 million in fire grills for their restaurants to try to lure in younger patrons, but it was to no avail.
