7-Foot-5 Celtic Hits Head on Ceiling, Now in Concussion Protocol
Tacko Fall rose to national fame during last season's March Madness tournament when he was playing for the University of Central Florida. What stood out about Fall's game? Well, him. He stands 7 feet 5 inches tall. Although some places have him listed as tall as 7 feet 6 inches.
Fall went undrafted in this past NBA Draft, but that didn't keep him from pursuing his NBA dream. He ended up signing a two-way contract with the Boston Celtics, meaning the Celtics will retain the rights to Fall, but he'll in the NBA's G League for the Maine Red Claws.
There are a lot of injuries that a basketball player can suffer. Kevin Durant ruptured his Achilles least season in the Finals. In the same Finals, his former teammate Klay Thompson tore his ACL. What has sidelined Tacko Fall recently? He's been placed in concussion protocol because he hit his head on a ceiling.
Fall explained to MassLive that he was at the practice facility washing his hands when he didn't notice a "low ceiling." After hitting his head, Fall didn't think much of it. But the following morning he woke up not feeling well and ultimately was forced into concussion protocol.
