27 Hour I-10 Closure Happening This Sunday In West El Paso

Finally! We can see light at the end of the tunnel. We're in the end phase of the construction on I-10 in West El Paso and TXDOT's goal is to have the Go 10 Project's roadwork done by the end of the month. We still have a few more 27-hour closures coming up this month but at least we know that they may stop hindering your weekend plans before the summer is over. We have another 27-hour closure coming up this weekend so here are the areas you should avoid before heading out this Sunday:

On Sunday, June 23rd starting at 3 a.m., I-10 West will be COMPLETELY CLOSED between Sunland Park (exit 13) and North Mesa. The North Mesa entrance ramp to I-10 West will also be CLOSED, as well as the Sunland Park entrance ramp. Traffic from the interstate will exit at Sunland Park and take the CD lanes westbound to re-enter the freeway through Redd Road.
