Here’s the official lineup and announcements for the 2013 KLAQ Balloonfest.

The 2013 KLAQ Balloonfest 3 days of hot air balloons filling the El Paso skies, 3 afternoons of concerts and fun in the sun at Wet ‘N’ Wild Waterworld in Anthony.

This year’s Balloonfest stage features the voice, the guitar and the Grammy!

Headlining Saturday May 25 – Tremonti, featuring Creed and Alter Bridge lead guitarist Mark Tremonti. The list of accolades bestowed on Mark over the years is lengthy, including having been named “Guitarist of the Year” for 3 consecutive years by Guitar World, and in 2011 Mark was listed by Total Guitar as the fourth greatest heavy metal guitarist of all time.

Headlining Sunday May 26 – Sully Erna, the lead signer of Godsmack brings his solo acoustic show to Balloonfest.  Sully will perform songs from his debut solo album, some personal-favorite covers, and even a few select Godsmack songs. Aranda will be the special guests taking the stage before Sully to recreate the magic of their acoustic show which was a highlight of last year’s Cool Canyon Nights series. This full day of captivating acoustic performances will be as memorable an event as it will be unique to the Balloonfest legacy.

Headlining Monday May 27 – Grammy Award winners Halestorm.  It will have been nearly a year since their last El Paso appearance, since which they have become one of the hottest bands in Rock.  Charismatic lead vocalist Lzzy Hale continues to grow the ranks of Halestorm fans worldwide.  Special guests to add to the closing Memorial Day lineup is another of rock’s hottest new bands, Young Guns!

The park opens daily at 7 a.m., with first band going on at noon.

1-Day of Park & Concert tickets $29.99
Wet ‘N’ Wild Waterworld Season tickets will be selling for $39.99 (early April).
This year’s theme is Q Party Animals and the featured Balloon shapes will include Panda, Monkey and Zebra. Balloons will launch at daybreak each day (around 6 a.m.)
