A homeowner in Sycamore Township, Ohio, is fighting with his town officials to keep his zombie nativity display. This is his second year of putting up the display, but it is still upsetting some scrooges.

There are some cool people who think his take on the famous nativity scene is awesome and stop to take photos. Those who are angry about a zombie baby Jesus want to see the whole scene taken off Jason Dixon's front yard.

Dixon admits he does use the nativity as a way to promote his haunted house. I don't blame him for celebrating Halloween all year long -- I think it's pretty genius.

Last year, Dixon was asked to take his display down due to not having the proper permit to have all that on his front yard. This year, he made sure to apply for a permit, but it was denied by Township officials. "I think it's the theme. It just rubs people the wrong way and it puts the spotlight on me. That's why they're coming down so hard on me," said Dixon to WEAR.

I would love to see more nativity scenes like this because it's just a unique interpretation, it's not real people. It's the mashup of two great holidays Halloween and Christmas. Unfortunately, if a Starbucks cup can offend people so easily, it's no surprise a zombie nativity scene would get people riled up.
