Zack de la Rocha is literally waxing poetic about his feelings for the Occupy Wall Street movement. The Rage Against the Machine and One Day as a Lion frontman recently released a poem about the protests, following the police-led evacuation of the activists from New York City’s Zuccotti Park earlier this week. In a statement accompanying the poem, Zack says the protesters’ “courage is changing the world.” He also encourages them to “stay strong,” adding that “we are winning.” The untitled poem includes lines about awakening “dreams of actions multiplied” and “gold dipped vultures” picking at “what is left of our denial.” The full piece can be found at the Rage Against the Machine website, RATM.com.
