If it feels like there hasn't been a whole lot of free agent movement in Major League Baseball this off season, you'd be right. There hasn't been. So much so the players have actually talked about walking out of spring training. At least, it was only briefly discussed and then quickly squashed.

Something that was true was that Yu Darvish was still on the market with a few potential landing spots. Well, he finally signed with the Chicago Cubs.

Darvish didn't have the greatest year in 2017. A season that was split between the Rangers and Dodgers. He went 10 and 12 on the year, and became the goat of the World Series as he really let the Astros tee off.

The deal with the Cubs is for 6 years, worth $126 million. But the deal has the chance to reach $150 million with incentives. If your a Cubs fan, you have to be hoping the incentives include not getting lit up in a World Series.
