It’s not uncommon for high-profile bank robbers to be given nicknames based on physical attributes or style. See: Baby Face Nelson and Charles “Pretty Boy” Floyd. Keeping with that unwritten law, it’s fair to dub a 23-year-old woman who orchestrated a bank heist so she could afford breast implants the “Boob Job Bandit.” The hook? She was the teller that handed over the dough in the robbery.

Mandy Lorenz of Germany set up the inside job with the help of three male accomplices, the Daily Mail reported. The trio entered the bank where Lorenz worked, went through the motions wielding a knife and gun and walked out with $117,000.

Following the subsequent police inquiry, she made a huge mistake: setting up an appointment with a local plastic surgeon. Already under surveillance, Lorenz unwittingly handed over the accomplices when she tried to claim her cut.

According to a 2010 report from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the cost of implants alone ranges from $3,486 for saline and $3,797 for silicone. That doesn’t include the myriad fees that come with going under the knife.

Lorenz’s foiled plan could land her in prison for up to 15 years. What a boob.
