The guitar virtuoso performs Friday night downtown.

Tricky Falls and Locohec Productions welcome one of the most amazing rock guitarists ever to El Paso, Yngwie Malmsteen. The swedish axeman, and Swedish Music Hall Of Fame member, performs Friday evening. Tickets are available at ticketfly.com, Bowie Feathers and at Tricky Falls itself, 209 S. El Paso, on the night of the show.

According to Yngwie's website,

Yngwie originally had no interest in music. However, on September 18, 1970, Yngwie saw a TV special on the death of guitar iconoclast Jimi Hendrix. Seven-year-old Yngwie watched with awe as Hendrix blasted the audience with torrents of feedback and sacrificed his guitar in flames. The day Jimi Hendrix died, the guitar-playing Yngwie was born.

Read the rest of Yngwie's biography here and catch him live, Friday night, at Tricky Falls!.
