I admit it, I'm a geek but have never gotten into Star Trek. I'm a Star Wars guys. But this past weekend Star Trek Beyond ruled the box office. So now is a good time for a Yes or BS.

  1. Star Trek Beyond is the 13th Star Trek movie.
    1. Yes - There were six movies with the original cast, four with the Next Generation cast, and this is the third one with the current cast.
  2. Zachary Quinto was so bad at the Vulcan salute when he started playing Spock, they had to glue his fingers together.
    1. Yes - He could only do it if he positioned his fingers like that beforehand.
  3. No one has ever played themself in any of the movies or TV shows.
    1. BS - Stephen Hawking was in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation where someone played poker with hologram version of him, Albert Einstein, and Isaac Newton.
  4. Leonard Nimoy only made one public appearance as Spock.
    1. Yes - He dressed up for a parade in Oregon in 1967, and people mobbed him. So he never did it again.
  5. William Shatner claims he never watched the original TV show.
    1. Yes - He did an interview in 2008 and said he's never watched the show because he hates watching himself. He also claimed he's never seen any of the movies. But he did direct Star Trek 5: The Final Frontier, so he's had to have seen that one.
