A teacher in Montana has received an insane punishment.

A former (at least they fired him) teacher in Billings Montana was having a sexual relationship with a 14 year old student and he got caught.  To make the matter worse, the poor girl committed suicide two years later at the age of 16.

Stacey Dean Rambold was tried, convicted and sentenced to only 15 years in prison. The genius judge in the case, G. Todd Baugh, said that the victim was:

"older than her chronological years"

and that she was

"as much in control of the situation as the teacher."

WTF?

Get this ....... Rambolds charges were to be dismissed completely after he went through a 3 year deferred prosecution agreement that included a sex offender treatment program, have no contact with children and admitting to 1 rape charge.  (He was accused of 3.)

He was terminated from the program after he quit attending meetings, was found to be having unsupervised visits with children and failed to report having a sexual relationship with a woman. (A grown one I assume.)  When prosecutors brought this information before Judge Jackass and asked that Rambold be sentenced to 10 years, he didn't find the allegations serious enough to warrant that.

As for the original 15 year sentence, Judge nimrod suspended all but 31 days of it.

A teacher having sex with a 14 year old that would never see 17 gets 31 days in jail.

You can get in more trouble than that for stealing a candy bar.

WTF????
