WTF Wednesday gets WTF-ed up today!

Ever heard of "drum and bass music"?  Neither had I (until today) but stay away from it if you're driving!  It, along with texting and/or talking on the phone, can get you in trouble!

Aaron Cogley, 25, was was arrested in the U. K. for driving "erratically". Cogley (who is listed as a "professional driver") reportedly ran a few red lights and almost hit another car. When asked about it by the cops, Cogley said;

he was listening to drum and bass and was in a hurry."

His defense attorney, David Miller, said;

"He was carried away because of the intoxicating effects of drum and bass music"

Funny huh?  Not across the pond ... Cogley has been banned from driving for a year and has to re-take his driver exam before he gets his license back!.

Judge Kevin De Haan described drum and bass as

"intoxicating for some. Very irritating for others."

WTF??

I have known for a looooong time that there is some sort of hard-wire that runs from my ears to my right foot that can ... at times ... make it "heavier".  So far it hasn't gotten me popped for DWR though.  (Driving While Rocking)

I SWEAR that was the shortest example of this stuff I could find.

My apologies if I got you into any sort of legal trouble with it.
