WTF Wednesday: Man Arrested For DWI Was Not Drunk [VIDEO]

WTF Wednesday gets WTF-ed up today!

Ever heard of “drum and bass music“?  Neither had I (until today) but stay away from it if you’re driving!  It, along with texting and/or talking on the phone, can get you in trouble!

Aaron Cogley, 25, was was arrested in the U. K. for driving “erratically”. Cogley (who is listed as a “professional driver”) reportedly ran a few red lights and almost hit another car. When asked about it by the cops, Cogley said;

he was listening to drum and bass and was in a hurry.”

His defense attorney, David Miller, said;

“He was carried away because of the intoxicating effects of drum and bass music”

Funny huh?  Not across the pond … Cogley has been banned from driving for a year and has to re-take his driver exam before he gets his license back!.

Judge Kevin De Haan described drum and bass as

“intoxicating for some. Very irritating for others.”

WTF??

I have known for a looooong time that there is some sort of hard-wire that runs from my ears to my right foot that can … at times … make it “heavier”.  So far it hasn’t gotten me popped for DWR though.  (Driving While Rocking)

I SWEAR that was the shortest example of this stuff I could find.

My apologies if I got you into any sort of legal trouble with it.
