WTF Wednesday: Killer Skyscraper Death Ray

A diabolical maniac and his evil gang of construction workers have planted a death ray in England!

Well, no one has been killed yet but property damage, intense heat and more are being inflicted on a small area of London these days.

A 37 story skyscraper in England, dubbed the "walkie-talkie tower" because of it's shape, is the cause.  The buildings outer walls are made of an incredibly reflective material that looks great but creates the "death ray" when sunlight hits it at the right angle.  As the seasons have begun to change from summer to fall, the suns location in the sky has shifted and now .. suddenly .. we're in death ray - ville!

The reflected sunlight has damaged an expensive Jaguar automobile (check out the vid below), set carpeting on fire in a barber shop, melted merchants products and blotched the paint on neighboring buildings as it raises temperatures in the affected areas up to 150 degrees!

Good thing England has a lot of cloudy, rainy days huh?
