WTF Wednesday part 2.  Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something ... mean to read??

A lady in fargo North Dakota has decided that to many kids in her neighborhood are "moderately obese" (that's PC for yo' kid is FAT!) and thinks going door to door for candy this year will cause them to get even more "moderately obese".

Instead of candy this year, she's planning on giving some kids (the skinny ones are cool) a letter this year for their parents instead of a treat that reads, in part;

Your child is, in my opinion, moderately obese and should not be consuming sugar and treats to the extent of some children this Halloween season.  My hope is that you will step up as a parent and ration candy this Halloween and not allow your child to continue these unhealthy eating habits.

(Read the entire letter here.)

WTF??

Granted, some people need to watch what they eat but this is Halloween!  (C'mon ... Most parents will probably eat half juniors candy for them anyway.  I always "help" my girls out. I'm a caring parent!)

Regardless of whether people monitor their kids candy intake or not, if she feels that WTF-ing strongly about it, couldn't she just give out a healthy alternative to candy as opposed to insulting the poor kid(s)?

What do you think?
