Winner of Our Border City Cosplay Contest

Congrats to all those cosplayers that were featured in our cosplay contest, but only one could win the prize!

Oscar Ramos

The winner of the three-day pass to Border City Comic Con is Hellboy, aka Oscar Ramos! Coming in a close second place was The Scarecrow (Manny Beccera), and in third, Ash Ketchum (Glenda Laguna). Oscar created an awesome Hellboy costume that dominated the contest. I hope to see what else Oscar will be creating and what character he will be dressed up as at the Border City Comic Con.

You can still dress up as your favorite character and head out this weekend to one of the newest conventions to happen in El Paso. It's about time we get a new comic convention that can put El Paso on the map as a place where nerds and geeks can unite and enjoy each others company in cosplay and panel discussions.
