We all have certain concerts that exceed other concert memories. For me, Jason Admire that concert took place in 1992. I was a sophomore in high school. That was a period of rock awesomeness that never happen again. The two biggest bands at the time Guns N' Roses and Metallica joined forces for a record summer stadium tour.

The thing that caused a bit of concern to parents was that the concert fell on a school day. Fortunately, the city said that kids going to the concert would be excused from school without repercussions. So, me and my merry band of misfits took to the Astrodome in Houston, Texas for the concert of a life time!

The show opened with Faith No More. Then the almighty Metallica took to the stage for two hours of monster rock. Now Guns N' Roses did make us wait for about a hour and a half, but once the lights went down...BOOM!! They played for over two hours and never missed a beat. Now with all the concerts I've been to and will be going to in the future, none will stand up to this radical concert, definitely one for the ages!
