What Lisa’s Thankful For This Thanksgiving

Today being Thanksgiving everyone is at home with their family and friends, remembering what they should be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Please don't forget our Armed Forces overseas protecting you and not with their families this holiday season. What I am thankful for this Thanksgiving is my older brother, Major Albert Mendoza of the United Sates Marines.

My older brother Albert leaves to go overseas for his fourth tour to the Middle East. So even if he does get Thanksgiving at home, he will be spending the Christmas away from the family. So this Thanksgiving be thankful for what you have, and not what you want. Give thanks for the family that surrounds you and makes you smile everyday. And don't forget to be thankful for those in our Armed Forces who are overseas right now, or even tomorrow, and who spend their time away from the ones they love to protect your loved ones too.

And a safe trip to my brother, I wish you well and can't wait for the day I can announce on the website that your coming home. Love you Alby.
