Donald Trump's main promise during the election of 2016 was to build a "big, beautiful" wall along the Mexican border and that Mexico would pay for it.  Since the election there has been some hemming and hawing about whether it's going to be an actual "wall" in the physical sense. We've heard Trump and his surrogates suggest that it may only be partially a wall. That parts of it may be "digital"... enforced by drones. That it may only exist in "key locations" along the border.

And, of course, we've heard in the past few days that it may actually be not Mexico but American taxpayers that are footing the bill.

Let's assume for a moment that some version of the wall gets built. What do people who actually live close to the Mexican border THINK of the wall.

Our friend Eric Schwartz files this report from both sides of the border.
