A woman was sent a bill after she missed her friend's wedding. But who was in the wrong?

A Minnesota woman was furious after she received a bill in the mail for not attending a friend's wedding. She canceled the day of the nuptials.

Jessica Baker had planned on attending her friends wedding and RSVP'd to the event. On the day of the wedding, Jessica was getting ready for the wedding when she got a call from her mother, who was supposed to be watching her kids on that special day. She was unable to watch the kids for Jessica, and kids were not allowed at the wedding or reception. As much as she wanted to go to the wedding, she was forced to cancel.

A few weeks after the wedding, Jessica Baker was shocked to see she had received a bill in the mail for $75. It was from the bride and groom, for the cost of her and her husband's meals at the reception. There was also a note sent with the bill that read:

'This cost reflects the amount paid by the bride and groom for meals that were RSVP'd for, reimbursement and explanation for no show, card, call or text would be appreciated.'

Jessica Baker didn't name the bride and groom, but did say she will not be sending them the money, or a wedding gift.
