Not all flights are totally boring!

An Aerolineas Argentinas Airbus A340 pilot didn't look all 3 ways ... left, right and UP ... before rolling across a landing strip in Spain.  The plane drove across the landing path of a Russian Boeing 767 as it was landing, forcing that pilot to abort the landing and circle around for another shot.  The near miss was caught on film, check it out!

According to an official at Spain’s airport authority, AENA:

that there had been enough space for the Russian plane to make a safe landing and that neither airline involved had filed a safety complaint.

similar incidents had previously occurred on the same runway. The distance between the start of the runway and the point where the A340 crossed it is three-quarters of a mile.

3/4 of a mile is still too damn close for me!
