Walk MS is holding their 2016 fundraising event Saturday at Bel Air High School, 731 Yarborough in East El Paso.

Their goal is to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a statement at Nationalmssociety.org reads:

Ending multiple sclerosis for good will take all of us. It’s why Walk MS matters so much. And it’s why you matter so much. Walk MS helps us team up with friends, loved ones and co-workers to change the world for everyone affected by MS. Together, we become a powerful force. And with every step we take, every dollar we raise…we’re that much closer. Together, we will end MS forever.

Multiple Sclerosis is a disease affecting nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, interfering with communication(s) between the brain and the body. This results in a wide range of physical, mental and even psychiatric issues.

There is no fee to register for the walk and no minimum pledge. For more information on Saturday's event, click here or call 1-800-344-4867.
