It's Election Day in El Paso and voters are heading out to the polls today to cast their ballots. There are a couple of big items on the ballot including the firefighters contract and the YISD bond for $451 million dollars.

This past month there has been a lot of talk for the firefighters' contract with the City of El Paso. First, lets start with the argument from the City of El Paso. City Manager Tommy Gonzalez came into the studio with two others from the budget office.

Then representatives from the El Paso Firefighters' union had to come in the studio to give us all a rebuttal from the City Manager's interview.

There are also four city council seats that are up for grabs. Several board of trustees seats are ope. Make sure you check back to KLAQ.com for more updates.
