Update- Sunland Park Flag Fail Fixed!

We got an update on the tattered flag in Sunland Park, NM!

Yesterday I pointed out that an American flag in Sunland Park, NM was tattered and in need of replacing. I suggested that if they could do it before the end of the week, that would be a great way to say Happy Veterans Day to all the great folks in Sunland Park who served. Well, guess what….

They got it done within a matter of hours! Seriously, the post didn’t make it up until late yesterday afternoon and these are pictures taken around 8 am today. Nice job, Sunland! You guys have proven that you know how to cut through red tape and get a job done in a timely, efficient manner. You deserve a lot of credit. I deserve most of the credit for pointing out the problem in the first place, but you still deserve some. Let’s call it 80/20.
