It looks like the U. S. government has finally acknowledged that marijuana does help fight cancer.

The governments National Cancer Institute listed several ways in which the use of marijuana benefits cancer patients and stated that it actually "kills cancer cells". (Third line from the bottom at this link.)

According to an article at healthnetlive.com, the National Cancer Institute advises:

that ‘cannabinoids may be useful in treating the side effects of cancer and cancer treatment’ by smoking, eating it in baked products, drinking herbal teas or even spraying it under the tongue.

The site also lists other uses including: Anti-inflammatory activity, blocking cell growth, preventing the growth of blood vessels that supply tumours, antiviral activity and relieving muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis.

Wouldn't it be great if we could use the ganja to it's fullest potential and ease up on the medicinal and, potentially deadly, chemical treatments?
