Two Motorcycle Events This Weekend

The weather is supposed to be beautiful this weekend, here are two different ways to get out in it.

Saturday, roll with the American Legion Riders to support local veterans. Registration is from 10:30 a.m. - 12 Noon at Barnett Harley - Davidson. From there the stops are:

• American Legion Post 598, 141 Elsworth Dr.
• Macadoos Bar, 3350 Wdgewood
• Rio Grande Shovelheads, 3974 Doniphan
• American Legion Post 58, 4724 Vulcan

At the last stop, the party is open to all. Bike or no bike, come by to help the veterans and have some fun. There will be a 50/50 drawing, door prizes, a bike rodeo and live rock from Whiskey Tree and Something Wicked!

Sunday, catch Biker Sunday at Drifters Community and Biker Church, 10490 Dyer. Starting at 12:30 p.m., there will be music and a free lunch as bikers gather to remember fallen brothers and sisters. It's sponsored by Honorbound, Son City Chapter, Kings and Priests and Seed of Abraham. For more info, contact Frank at (915) 276-4541.
