The first two movie trailers I have for you today are fake. The third one? Anybody’s guess.

Let’s start with the ones we know are for sure fake.

1.) The Fake Quentin Tarantino Star Trek Movie

We found out last year that Quentin Tarantino will direct an upcoming Star Trek film that will be produced by J.J. Abrams. At first, it sounded like an obvious joke. But it turned out to be true! But now we have a trailer that IS a joke! Here it is!

It’s done in the Tarantino faux-Grindhouse style using video from the original Star Trek series. And, since it’s supposed to be a Tarantino flick, they figured out a way to get TV character from the Sixties to use the F word. Thanks, Nerdist!

2.) The Fake Friends Reunion Trailer

For the record, Friends Reunite is not an actual project. As far as we know. But this phony trailer actually managed to fool a lot of people because they creatively edited scenes of the Friends interacting with each other on their post-Friends shows. This may come as a shock, but not everybody has seen Courteney Cox’s Cougar Town or Matt LeBlanc’s Episodes. So to see the more mature Friends interacting with each other really caught some people off guard.

3.) The Crocodile Dundee Reboot…Starring Danny McBride??

This is the one that MAY be legit. It’s a teaser as opposed to a real trailer. It show Danny “Kenny Powers” McBride as Mick “Crocodile” Dundee’s son. He’s met in the outback by Chris Hemsworth. Does this concept sound almost too stupid to be real? Yes. Have stupider reboots been done? Just ask Chris Hemsworth. He was also in the Ghostbusters reboot.

So this could be real. I guess. If it is I guess that will make Thor the Ted McGinley of shitty reboots.
