After trespassing incident at Concordia Cemetery earlier this week, the trespassers and Concordia cemetery have actually teamed up for a fundraiser that benefits Pokemon users and the cemetery!

This week has been a crazy Pokemon Go-mania! We've heard stories of people doing silly things while trying to catch them all, even right here in El Paso. Three people were caught jumping the fence into the Concordia cemetery Wednesday evening to try and catch Pokemon. From what we heard, the people read a previous article I wrote on places you can catch Pokemon that were just wrong which included the Arlington National Cemetery. From there, they decided to try out our local historical cemetery, Concordia, to find Pokemon more common in cemeteries. After their scare with law enforcement, the group was extremely apologetic to the cemetery and want to make it up to them in an awesome way. And lucky for ghost story fans and Pokemon Go users, their idea benefits you!

There will be a Ghost hunt/ Pokemon Go hunt at the Concordia Cemetery next week! You'll be able to learn more about the rich history of the Concordia Cemetery, while catching all the Pokemon the cemetery has to offer.

Here's what the Facebook event page had to say about the tour:

Is there GHOST Pokémon at Concordia Cemetery? YES! There is at least 3 PokeStops at the cemetery, plus, here is a way YOU can help with the preservation of this historic landmark. Catch as many Pokémon as you can while learning about El Paso history thru the eyes of the Cemetery.

The Pokémon Ghost Tour will be $15 a person and will allow attendees to catch as many  Pokémon as they can from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Meet at the Yandell gat by 8:30 p.m. to attend this event that puts the fun in fundraiser! Kids must be accompanied by a parent.
