El Paso is the safest city in the U.S. for the fourth year in a row. Mayor Oscar Lesser says it's also a good place to raise a family. It seems like its all smiles and sunshine here in El Paso. It really is let me explain why #ItsAllGoodEP.

1. El Paso is the Safest City in the US. The City of El Paso has the lowest crime ranking of U.S. cities with a population of 500,000 or more.

According to the press release from the El Paso Police Department it states, " The main assertion is lower socioeconomic populations may resort to crime as a means of survival. This assertion links property crimes, i.e. thefts, more so than violent crimes (Chester, 1976). Poverty was also identified as one of three elements linked to higher crime rates (Smith and Jarjoura, 1988).

2. The Level of Education Is Great.

The University of Texas at El Paso ranks as one of the Top 10 universities in the US. UTEP #7 even ranked higher than Havard who came in at #8. The new Texas Tech School of Medicine is another great leaning institution that was recently added. There are also good vocational schools to learn new trades.

It's called America's "Sun City" for a reason. El Paso gets around 305 days of sunshine. Some of the best sunsets I have ever seen in my life have been looking west towards the Franklin Mountains.

4.El Paso Loves Working Out.
