The Pope's recent visit and a few other things going on around town recently caused a really big drop in early voter turnout so today, it's important for everyone to get out and vote!

Not only are there elections taking place at the national level, there are also several important local races going on including those for Sheriff and state representative for District 75. El Paso County Elections Administrator Lisa Wise told the El Paso Times:

“El Paso traditionally looks to be brought out (to vote) by some highly contested lower-ticket races, county races.” “I don’t know if those other lower-ticket races are enough to drive the local ticket that people come out to vote for.”
