It's your chance to "Win, Place and Go!"
Weekdays (Monday - Friday) at the top of the 4pm hour, join Scott Ronson, KLAQ, and Sunland Park Racetrack for a round of "Win, Place, and Go."
I will ask a trivia question about El Paso or a landmark, the first caller with the correct answer (win) will win $25.00 in lucky bucks and two Ventannas Buffet Q-pons.
The caller who comes in just behind the winner (place) will win lunch for 2 at Ventannas Buffet.
Today's question and answer:
Q: These people were displaced from New Mexico in 1680 and 1681 during the Pueblo Revolt against the Spaniards.
A: Ysleta del Sur Pueblo (also Tigua Pueblo).
In Spanish the people and language are called Tigua (pronounced Tiwa). They have maintained a tribal identity and lands in Texas.[1] Spanish replaced the indigenous language since around the early 1900s.
Congratulation to today's Win: Ben Romero
Congratulations to today's Place: Sal Ortega
