Tia Carrere made first made us go ‘schwing’ as Cassandra in ‘Wayne’s World’ but what has she been doing since the 90′s? Plenty.

A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Carrere was first discovered working in a grocery store by casting directors who gave her a part in the indie comedy ‘Aloha Summer’ in 1988. Her big break earned her a string of guest roles on TV shows such a ‘MacGyver’ and ‘Quantum Leap’ as well as a regular role on ‘General Hospital’. She also has several memorable roles in movies such as ‘Rising Sun’ starring Sean Connery and ‘True Lies’ with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

These days, she’s still making the guest role rounds on television on a wide variety of shows including ‘CSI: Miami,’ ‘Warehouse 13′ and ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm.’ She’s also spent a great deal of her career lately behind the mic as a voice over actress for video games such as ‘Saints Row’ and the Disney movie and cartoon series ‘Lilo & Stitch’ as Lilo’s older sister Nani, and a singer and music producer with Grammy wins in 2009 for her Hawaiian language composition. She will appear on the next installment of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice.’
