Three El Paso Bands Are Going To State!

They practiced hard, in all kinds of weather, at all times of the day and night to be the best. Now, they are one step closer to bringing home the state title!

The marching bands from Coronado High School, Americas High School and Franklin High School are going to the UIL state championships in San Antonio to compete November 8th. Coronado band director Mark Saenz told KFOXTV.com that:

“It’s getting more difficult to qualify for these things because you have to compete against these great groups around here and in Odessa and the Amarillo and Fort Worth area.”
