This Week In Headaches- Major Road Closures In El Paso This Week

Here are the MAJOR closures and road construction projects for this week in El Paso. Get ready for late night gridlock. We all know that there will be another major closure on the westside this weekend, but find out what other congestion is headed your way this week. The westside of El Paso has been giving people headaches for years now as continued improvements to the roadways have caused closures, congestion and more. This past weekend there was a major closure on that side of town and get ready, because it's happening all over again this coming weekend. Take a look at some of the major closures coming this week to El Paso roadways:

Diana Underpass Closure

Tuesday, May 15 at 6 am until further notice (3 months)

• Diana Underpass at I-10 COMPLETELY CLOSED for 3 months
• Use gateways and turnarounds at Transmountain and Honda Pass

I-10 West Between Viscount and Airway

Monday, May 14- Thursday, May 17 (9 pm- 5 am nightly)

• I-10 West COMPLETELY CLOSED from Viscount Overpass to Airway Overpass

I-10 West Between Copia to Cotton

Sunday, May 13 - Thursday, May 17 (9 pm - 5 am nightly)

• Alternate lane closures I-10 West from Copia to Cotton
• I-10 West Piedras Entrance and Exit CLOSED
• US 54 South to I-10 East CLOSED

I-10 at Piedras and Copia

Monday, May 14 - Friday, May 18 (9 am- 3 pm throughout the day)

• I-10 East and West Entrance and Exit ramps closed for Piedras and Copia streets
• I-10 East exit ramps closed for Reynolds, Paisano and Trowbridge streets

I-10 Schuster to Executive Center Blvd

Thursday, May 17 (9 pm to 5 am)

• I-10 East left lane closed from Schuster to Executive Center Blvd

I-10 at Americas

Sunday, May 13 - Thursday, May 17 (8 pm to 5 am nightly)

• I-10 COMPLETELY CLOSED from Lee Trevino to Eastlake
• Zaragosa and Lee Trevino Entrance Ramps CLOSED
• I-10 to Loop 375  COMPLETELY CLOSED

I-10 West at Sunland

Monda, May 14 and Tuesday, May 15 (9 pm to 6 am)

• I-10 West from Sunland Park Exit to Sunland Park Entrance Ramp

 I-10 West at North Mesa Street

Tuesday, May 15 - Thursday, May 17 (9 pm to 6 am)

• I-10 West CLOSED at North Mesa Street (Exit 11)
• North Mesa Street CLOSED at I-10 underpass

I-10 at Sunland Park Drive

Friday, May 18 (9 pm) to Monday, May 21 (6 am)

• I-10 COMPLETELY CLOSED at the Sunland Park Exit and Entrance Ramps
• Sunland Park Drive South CLOSED at Mesa Hills Drive
• Sunland Park Drive North CLOSED at Paisano Drive
• I-10 West Sunland Park Entrance Ramp CLOSED
• I-10 East Sunland Park Flyover Entrance Ramp CLOSED
• I-10 East Resler Entrance Ramp CLOSED
