Sometimes convicts aren't stupid, they just get caught. This convict should be running our country.  A jail inmate in Florida figured out how to make the most of a glitch in the jail's phone system.  The system charges inmates' accounts when they make phone calls, but it refunds the money if the call doesn't go through. Officials in Lake County say inmate Larry Stone discovered that the system was mistakenly refunding the money twice for an incompleted call. So, he started making lots and lots of calls, and hanging up. He kept getting the double refund, until he had more than $1,250 in his inmate account. And that was enough to post bond and get out of jail.  But he was only free for a few hours before he was re-arrested. It seems that other inmates found out about the glitch, and started copying the trick -- until jail officials finally made the connection.
