The Year Was 1979

In 1979, I was four years old and knew exactly what I wanted for my birthday, rock n' roll music! I remember being on the phone with my aunt when she asked what I wanted. I'm sure she expected me to say toys, right? Wrong!! I told her I wanted rock music and that is exactly what I received. My fifth birthday will always mark the day in injected rock n roll into my veins and never looked back. Not only did I get my rock, it also introduced me to Queen, Van Halen, Rolling Stones and Aerosmith. My life has never been the same. To me music is very spiritual and exciting, I live and breath rock, if I bled rock it would run like a raging river of awesomeness. I used to put on rock shows for my friends pretending to be the icons that at the time were the kings. Ever since then I knew that rock n' roll would never leave my side and it's been a relationship made in heaven ever since 1979.
