The Rock on the Range lineup was already pretty stacked as it was, but organizers have added several new acts, plus a comedy tent and more.

The Pretty Reckless and Tremonti are the biggest names among the new additions. The Pretty Reckless have been rocking stages with Nickelback and will be touring with Halestorm this spring. Meanwhile, Tremonti just announced their sophomore album Cauterize would be arriving in May and Rock on the Range is a nice addition to their current itinerary.

Other acts who've joined the bill include Vamps, The Danger Kids and Highly Suspect. They join a bill that's headlined by Linkin Park, Judas Priest and Slipknot. The daily lineups for the star-studded bill will be revealed in April.

Fans can also head to the Rock on the Range Comedy Tent for some additional entertainment. That Metal Show's Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine will be joined by Rob Schneider, Brian Posehn, Jim Norton, Rod Paulette, Jeremy Essig, Brent Terhune, Joe Howard, Bill Squire, Jay Snyder, Bill Arrundale, Jake Iannarino, Kenny Smith and Craig Peters for some laughs amidst all the heavy riffing during Rock on the Range weekend.

There will also be an Ernie Ball Rock on the Range Battle of the Bands taking place in the lead up to the event. Unsigned bands will have a chance to perform on the Ernie Ball Stage at Rock on the Range and receive over $15,000 in gear and prizes if they can best the competition. Head to the Rock on the Range Battle of the Bands website for sign-up details beginning March 9.

Rock on the Range will take place May 15-17 at Mapfre Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Lodging, ticketing and full lineup details for the 2015 Rock on the Range can be found here.
