A new photo from the set of The Predator has made its way online, revealing our first look at the classic alien baddies in Shane Black’s highly-anticipated sequel along with a few of their human co-stars. But once you look past the obvious — these Predators are riding in a friggin’ TANK — there’s something particularly interesting about this pic, which could provide a clue to the film’s mysterious plot.

The photo below (via Instagram user Jarrod Au) was snapped on the set of The Predator, which is currently filming in Vancouver. In the pic, you can see not one, but two of the titular antagonists (one of which is flashing peace signs at the photographer) rolling down the street in a tank with co-stars Thomas Jane, Trevante Rhodes and Keegan-Michael Key:

But wait — why are the Predators chilling in a tank with humans? What’s going on here? Maybe it was just easier to get them all to set in one vehicle, but could there be a moment in the sequel where the humans team up with their enemies to fight…something else? A rogue Predator? Something worse?

Black is keeping the plot under wraps for now, and it’ll be quite some time before we see the first official footage from The Predator, which doesn’t hit theaters until February 9, 2018. The sequel, written by Black and Fred Dekker, also stars Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Yvonne Strahovski, Jacob Tremblay, Alfie Allen and Edward James Olmos.
