The Future Of Slipknot

Slipknot will be back this summer, though some members more reluctantly than others.Singer Corey Taylor has been public with his concerns about the band carrying on after the death of bassist Paul Gray, but drummer Joey Jordison tells "Artisan News Service" that he's excited about Slipknot's future.  Jordison says the band has been "completely on fire" during rehearsals, adding that Gray's replacement, Donnie Steele, is doing a "great job."  But he insists that Slipknot will always exist, with or without Taylor.  Jordison says he feels the European dates this summer, their first since Gray's death, will put everyone in the right mindset after they start.  The trek kicks off June 17th in Greece. Taylor, meanwhile, told "Metal Injection" in a new interview that the shows were, quote, "about letting the fans share in the celebration of Paul."  He says there is plenty to celebrate, and he's glad to be a part of it
