A woman from Texas is suing her plastic surgeon for removing her belly button allegedly without her knowledge.

Lori Jones of Houston, Texas is suing her plastic surgeon after going under the knife and waking up without a belly button. She went under the knife back in December, getting a tummy tuck after multiple C-sections left her with a herniated umbilical cord. Jones was ready to flaunt her sexy new stomach on the beach this summer but sadly, things didn't go as she planned.

When she was able to removes the dressings off of her stomach, she was horrified to find that her belly button was gone. She told television station KTRK,

"I went in with the belly button and I'd like to know what you did with it? What happened to it? Did you throw it in the trash? Where is it?"

Jones said that she had several meetings with renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzardan, known for his appearances on TLC's "My 600 Pound Life." Jones said that at no point during these consultations did Dr. Nowzardan tell her she was at risk of losing her belly button. Dr. Nowcardan is a gastric bypass specialist and he told the news stations that he did ell Jones "there's no way to save that area."

Dr. Nowzardan did say that he can recite the belly button for Lori Jones in about six months, once her surgery wounds have healed. However Jones says that she has already contacted an attorney and intends to sue Dr. Nowzardan.
