I don't think this daycare had a checklist to do before they went home.

Joann's Day Care in Houston, Texas, forgot something pretty important when workers locked up for the night. Sharonda Ross is the mother to 10-month-old Jordan and came to pick him up from the daycare on Monday. Instead of being able to pick up her son, Sharonda found the day care locked up for the evening. She thought she may have been mistaken, and rushed home to see if maybe her partner picked their son up before her. Unfortunately for her, he was home and had not picked up their son.

The parents raced back to the day care to get their child. When they arrived, they heard Jordan crying inside the daycare. The parents proceeded to break into the center to get their son. The entire break-in was videotaped by Sharonda to show how they found their child. The couple also filed a report with the Harris County Sheriff's Department and they are now investigating the child abandonment claim. The owner of the daycare center spoke with TKRK-TV and tearfully apologized for the situation but she has said the employee who left the baby will not be fired.
