Texas Man Falls Overboard on Cruise Ship in Florida, Search Begins

The Coast Guard is searching for a Texas man who fell off a Royal Caribbean cruise ship off the coast of Florida.

A 46 year-old passenger fell off the balcony of a cruise ship he was on off the coast of Key Largo, Florida. Texan David Mossman allegedly fell 100 feet from the 10th deck of the ship late in the night. Officials haven't disclosed what events led up to Mossman going overboard from the stateroom balcony. Also officials haven't released if he was a crew member or a passenger of the cruise.

Life rings were thrown into the sea when Mossman went overboard. A helicopter and a plane are being used to search an area of over 946 square nautical miles.
