I get that there are a lot of patriotic states in the United States. I get that some might even be more patriotic than Texas. Although that still seems far fetched. My biggest problem with this article from Wallethub.com is how far down the list Texas is. Spend just a few days in Texas, and you'll see how patriotic this state is. But according to the article, Texas comes in 30th out of the 50 states.

So what was the criteria used to come up with this list? Well, it ranged from amount of enlisted military population (which probably helped vault Virginia to the number one spot on the list) to the share of adults that voted in the most recent election to AmeriCorps volunteers per capita.

Okay, for the most part I get their criteria. But seriously. To have Texas at number 30 on the list of most patriotic states, you might want to reevaluate your scoring system.
