Texas Firefighter Takes down a Would-Be Store Robber

Gotta love this former Marine and Texas firefighter!

Daniel Gaskey is a former Marine and a Texas firefighter who is being credited as a hero for his actions at a Texas convenience store. According to WPTV, Gaskey was at a Midlothian convenience store on June 26th when a would be robber came in. Gaskey was at the counter talking to the convenience store clerk when a masked robber came in with a knife. Instead of standing aside, Gaskey leapt into action wrapping his arms around the individual and wrestled him to the ground. He was able to stay on top of the robber until the police arrived. Police officials said they appreciated Gaskey's efforts in helping them catch the perpetrator, but do not recommend people follow his lead. Watch the video for yourself to see his courageous actions.
