A Texas father and son are believed to be among the over 80 dead in the Nice, France terror attack.

A Texas father and son are believed to be two of those killed during the horrific terror attack that happened in Nice, France on Bastille Day. Tourists, French citizens and others were out on the streets celebrating Bastille Day, which commemorates the Storming of the Bastille back in 1789.

Sean Copeland, 51, and his 11 year-old son Brodie Copeland are thought to be among the dead in Nice, France. The death toll is at 84 people and counting, with 18 people in critical condition and many injured.

The Hill Country Baseball Facebook page put up a post around 7 p.m.  saying that the father and son, who were on vacation in France were deceased.

This evening we would like to ask that the HC family keep the Copelands in your prayers. This afternoon our very own Brodie Copeland, as well as his father Sean Copeland, were killed during the terrorist attack in Nice, France. This photo was sent to me earlier today from the French Riviera...Nobody deserves this type of fate, especially not such a wonderful family. You are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. Rest in peace, Brodie and Sean, you will be remembered by many.

Many friends and family of the two commented on the post saying that they were shocked when they heard the news. You can read some of the comments in the post below.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Copeland family and all those affected by the Nice terror attack. Read more about this story at the Daily Mail.
