This Texas dad made a hilarious video after finding a bottle of whiskey in his daughter's sock drawer.

I think a lot of teens have had that awkward moment where their parents found something they should have.

Personally, my parents have had to deal with a huge array of incriminating items in my room before, including liquor bottles. This Texas father decided to send his daughter a sweet message, before asking about the booze. Twitter user Elainey (@glovelacee) put up this video after her father sent it while she was on vacation.

The video starts off very sweet, with her dad hoping she's having a good time on vacation. He even brings up a funny video of her "chasing the crab." From there, it turns a little more serious when he brings up something he wants to talk about when she gets back home. Dad proceeds to pull out a nearly empty bottle of Fireball whiskey and wants to know how it ended up in her sock drawer.

"I don't know if this is something that fell out of a sock, because it was in your sock drawer,' the father says, revealing that the girl's hiding place has been found. We heard a news report of people breaking into houses and hiding whiskey bottles. So if that's the case, then we need to contact police. But if you've got another explanation maybe you can explain it to us when you get home."

The dad ends the video by smiling and saying bye to his daughter. After receiving his video, his daughter Elaine then posted the video to her Twitter account with the caption, "Sooooo my parents found this bottle I was hiding in my room and this happened..."

The video went viral and has over 20,000 likes and almost 10,000 retweets. Unfortunately we don't know what happened to Elaine or if she has come home yet from her vacation at the coast. If she's smart she'll take him to the police station to report the person who broke into her bedroom to hide the whiskey bottle. Thank goodness for that news report.
