Your next phone and/or computer may automatically block your porn access. Unless you pay up...

WSMV.com reports that Arizona and a number of other states, including Texas, are considering a bill that would charge you to access porn sites. The Human Trafficking Prevention Act would require that:

all new internet-connected devices be equipped with a porn filter. Consumers who want to unlock the filter would have to pay a one-time fee of $20 on each device.

The money generated by the new tax would be used to provide funding for groups that fight human trafficking and the bill itself says it will "impact the demand side of human trafficking". (How they figured that out isn't mentioned in the bill or the wsmv story.)

Pornography is protected by the first amendment and many feel that this bill will spark taxation, (IE censorship), of other forms of free speech online. What do you think?
