Taste of El Paso is just around the corner, and this is one of the best events, especially for food lovers like me. This week, I was able to go to a couple of the restaurants that will be serving food at this year’s Taste of El Paso, happening Nov. 12 at the El Paso Convention Center.

When you're Downtown and looking for great food and wonderful atmosphere, look no further than Nolita Corner Bistro! Located in the heart of Downtown, right next to the courthouse, Nolita offers a wide variety of quality food in a welcoming atmosphere.

I was able to sample the Chicken Jerusalem. I had never had this dish before and was excited to try something new. That's the beauty of Taste of El Paso, trying food you normally wouldn't! My favorite parts of this Jewish dish were the Jerusalem artichokes, mushrooms and sauce. The way the plate was set up made it easy to enjoy and dip the chicken, artichokes and mushrooms in the sauce.
